How Best To Wear Mens Scarves

Mens scarves are stylish and comfortable. Knowing the best way to wear a scarf is just as appealing to most women as picking out the right pair of jeans. Men's scarves should be long enough to be looped around the neck at least twice. The ends of it, after being looped, should be able to reach near the middle of the stomach area. Tying it into certain types of knots is just as easy as looping. Knots also have the bonus of added appeal....
One type of knot to know is the Parisian knot. Take a scarf and fold it length-wise. Then, create a loop by placing it around the neck. Put the loose ends of the scarf through the loop and pull to create desired tightness. The Parisian style is generally worn close to the neck.

A more casual knot is called the once-around knot. First, place the scarf around the neck. Secondly, place one end of the scarf through the created loop. One end of the scarf should be a bit lower than the other end. Tighten the scarf, but not so tight as to have it tight against the neck. The once-around style should sit loose around the throat.

The bulk and colors of a scarf are also an important aspect for men to recognize. A slightly thick scarf is best. A scarf should not be so thick it detracts from the rest of the outfit, but it should be thicker than flimsy. Colors are important but be careful not to go overboard. A scarf with two or three colors, such as plaid, can be worn with many outfits that are comprised of basic one-tone colors.

Learning the proper way to wear mens scarves is a must for men who may wish to add some easily attainable style to their wardrobes. The right colors and the right styles are up to the respective tastes and attire choices of each man. A little experimentation will help decide what scarf types and what knot types to use. The finished product is a confident man sporting a stylish scarf.
